Today I'm going to post some of the verses I've been reading lately. I've been doing a study through Proverbs and decided to add Psalms in there as well. :) I also got a new Bible, so I have been going through to highlight my favorites. Anyway. God has been challenging me to dig deeper...so, here they are:
Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 2:6 ~ For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs 4:24-27 ~ Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil.
Proverbs 15:1 ~ A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Proverbs 18:21 ~ Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 19:1 ~ Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in speech and is a fool.
Psalm 73:26 ~ My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever
